my name is Lasse HEMSING. I Am a german pianist from Hamburg. Alongside my artistic work, I completed a degree at the Hamburg School of Music and am currently studying musicology.
In May 2024, I released my first solo album, in colour (via @23BIT_Music).

I enjoy composing and drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical genres. With my solo work, I create a seamless blend of contemporary neoclassic and experimental ambient music.
Jazz, Pop and Rock music also play an important role in my musical identity, especially in live performances.
As a pianist and keyboardist, I regularly perform with various groups, including my Jazz Trio nujazz avenue. I also collaborate with singers and songwriters at numerous concerts and festivals.

Building on many years of experience in group and band projects, I expanded my work to include solo releases. My debut single, Felt, was released on piano day 2022 and My fifth single, Stiller, was even featured in Nils Frahm’s official Piano Day playlist.

I am Currently living in Paris, where I Am exploring new opportunities to perform live and connect with the local music scene. At the same time, I continue to develop My solo work. Plans for upcoming concerts and more electronic releases are taking shape.
